In this episode we welcome Dr. Carlo Umiltà, a professor of neuroscience at the University of Padova. Dr. Umiltà also has a condition known as amusia, which causes music to sound like noise. What is it like to live without music? How does one take part in a musical while being unable to hear music? How does this affect his appreciation of movies? Did he pass it onto his son Alberto Umiltà without Alberto realizing it? Then we each talk about the four most important albums in our lives.
