  • Decision of an inspector dated 22 April 2022 allowing an appeal by Welbeck Strategic Land against the decision of Chichester District Council to refuse permission for an outline application for 70 dwellings on an unallocated site with issues around 5 yr HLS, effects on the character & appearance & accessibility to services & employment.
  • Decision of the Housing Minister dated 6 May 2022 allowing an appeal by Bloor Homes & Sandleford Farm Partnership against the decision West Berks DC to grant permission, recovered by the SoS under section 79 for up to 1000 homes, 80 C3 units, a new 2FE primary school, expansion land for an Academy, local centre, new country park and access on an allocated site. Issues around access & compliance with development plan & SPD policies, conditions v 106 obligation.
  • Decision of an inspector dated 3rd May 2022 allowing an appeal by Extra MSA Group against the decision of Warrington Borough Council to refuse permission for an MSA including a 100 bed hotel, fuel & electric charging station at J11 of the M62 in the GB, agreed to be inappropriate development. VSC found.
  • Decision of an inspector dated 27 April 2022 allowing an appeal by Persimmon Homes against the decision of North Somerset Council to refuse permission for 60 dwellings on land north-east of Yatton on allocated land with access via an unallocated orchard with TPOs, raising issuing on impact on character & appearance of former orchard, biodiversity, and consistency with the development plan landscape.
