The year is 2009 and the wrestling world is in an alright place, WWE is chugging along just fine and the only things that slow it down are live sports, but one particular week more than others. The NBA Western Conference Finals were due to be played in Denver the same day that WWE had booked the Pepsi Center, home of the Denver Nuggets. What ensued was another battle of the billionaires, this one more real than the previous. When the venue was switched the Staples Center, the home of the LA Lakers, who were facing the Denver Nuggets, surely Vince McMahon would leave it at that. NOPE!
Hosts of Running Back The Hits SadderdayLee (@RunBackTheHits) and Youngist (@Y0ungist) join the show to watch the "5 on 5 Match" between the WWE's take on the Lakers and Nuggets, break down the match ups at each position, the previous generation hating on the now, and just how cool Nuggets era Carmelo Anthony was.
