Yes that's right, it's time for our first-ever emergency podcast!

John (@johnbiggs on Twitter) is traveling for work, but Victor (@vmarks) and Nicholas (@nicholasadeleon, aka the person writing these notes) wanted crack open their mics to talk about the just-announced Seiko SKX-style GMTs that were made official earlier today. Yes, we've discussed these before, but now we have the full details. Look for them this summer for around $500-ish.

We also touch on (and actually open the show with, because of course we do) some Apple watchOS 9 stuff that was announced on Monday (this is the Nintendo thing Nicholas mentions), a handful of new Garmin smartwatches, and Nicholas gives his full thoughts on the Seiko SPB239 / SBDC141 that he just purchased. Is a $1000 Seiko worth it? You'll have to listen to find out!

Thank you for listening, hopefully it sounds halfway decent.

We'll see you in a few days!
