The Stanley Cup Final is set to go, which means that we should start hearing a bit more chatter from NHL teams. There has been some Leaf news and, of course, the Ladies are always set to bring you up to date with what’s been going on with the Blue and White!

We start the show discussing the NHL Draft, which is being held July 7th and 8th at the Bell Centre in Montreal. This year’s draft is said to be quite deep with many talented hockey players and the Leafs have 3 picks. We will highlight a few players that the Leafs could be looking at to add to and improve the organization’s prospect pool.

When it comes to prospects who are currently a part of the organization, Kyle Dubas said he hopes to see the progression of players from the Marlies pushing for jobs at Leafs training camp in September. We discuss a few Marlies who should get the opportunity to make the club next season.

For our Third Period segment we are excited to have a special guest join us on the show! Mike Augello is a Leafs reporter, and co-host of, “The Leafs Convo” and “Hockeybuzz Buzzcast” Podcasts. He is also a blogger with HockeyBuzz.com and a member of the Professional Hockey Writers Association. We get Mike’s thoughts on the Leafs off season with special focus on the goaltending, defence, and free agency! Mike also gives us a couple of scenarios that the Leafs could consider that would definitely change the team’s makeup. As we move into summer and with so many roster related questions we expect it to be a busy off season for the Leafs. We will have you covered with our Patio Season episodes!
