Episode 16 - Wonderland

Wonderland: A New Alice, formerly called Wonderland: Alice's New Musical Adventure, is a musical with a book by Jack Murphy and Gregory Boyd, lyrics by Murphy, and music by Frank Wildhorn. The story, a contemporary version of the novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking-Glass (1871) by Lewis Carroll, is set in New York City and focuses on writer Alice Cornwinkle and her 10-year-old daughter Chloe. After various workshops and productions of the musical in Tampa, Florida and Houston, Texas, the show premiered on Broadway on April 17, 2011, closing a month later, on May 15, 2011.

About The Host

Kenneth L. Waters, Jr. (He/Him) has been involved in theater for over a decade around the DMV area. He is a graduate from The College of Southern Maryland and Frostburg State University with degrees in Theatrical Design and Performance. He is currently the Production Stage Manager at Roxy Regional Theatre in Clarksville, Tennessee. He has been involved in numerous productions both on and off stage.

About The Guest

Danielle LeDoux (She/Her) has been involved with theatre, on and off stage, for 19 years. She started on stage as "Pepper" in Port Tobacco Player's production of "Annie" in the early 2000s. Danielle continued to do shows in middle school and in high school she quickly found her love of carpentry. In college, Danielle dove deep into theatre at the College of Southern Maryland where she earned her Associates Degree in Theatre before transferring to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she received her Bachelors Degree in Theatre Technology and Design. After college, Danielle came home and started working as a carpenter for a professional children's theatre. This season she worked in the Cornstalkers Trail of Terror haunted attraction located at the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs Stadium in Waldorf, MD.
