Todays episode is on John 14 verse 27. This is a true identity verse that speaks to the reality of what it means to be given peace from God. In this episode I speak to some of the struggles and challenges that I've been going through and how knowing my true identity has helped me navigate these trials. God doesn't want us to think we're alone in these times. To God be all the glory. Peace my friends.
For so long, I walked around knowing there was a plan for me and a higher purpose for my life. I always needed clarification on what this meant. It had never been explicitly clear to me. Once I gave my life to Christ everything changed instantly. I felt this change but didn't fully understand it.
In the same way you can feel heat radiate off a light bulb. My old self was gone, the new creation was born. I was literally developing all over again. I matured into my old self, but my new creation was only just born. Colossians 1:28 growth had started. From being an infant to growing in my faith, learning how to feed myself and walk on my own. Learning who Christ had called me to be. Understanding His will in my life and knowing the truth about who He says I am!
If you're going through this process, you may be like me. I hope to encourage you as you mature in your faith walk with Christ. Understanding your true identity and who Christ made you to be is the beginning of our eternity with Him.
