Warren explains what it was like being released by Leicester City and then having to make a career playing football in the lowers leagues. Whilst still playing, Warren worked with myself at talkSPORT and Warren went on to have a very successful career in sports Journalism. Working at talkSPORT, Setanta Sports, Hayters News Agency and The Sun. His experience provided him with a unique insight into the challenges that the modern-day sports professional will encounter. He formed The Haughton Consultancy to help guide and enhance the media presence of current and former players and media professionals. Warren has some very successful people on his books including: Lianne Sanderson, Jobi McAnuff, Jermaine Beckford, Gary O'Neil, Lucy Ward, Paul Parker, Gemma Davison, Becky Spencer, Jacqui Oatley and many more.

This is a great podcast to understand what its like for young players who get released early in their career and how tough it is to make a living at the lower levels. Then to show us how to become successful as Journalist and now as a media consultant. This is a must listen for any football fan.
