Welcome to the Moderate Voice of America. Our story today begins with the Indo-Pacific region. The United States has recently declassified its policy for the Indo-Pacific region. On January 12th, the White House released the U.S. Strategic Framework for the Indo-Pacific. This can be found on the White House website under the National Security & Defense section. With that release, there was a statement by National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien. The release of the document comes after three years of service. According to the White House online statement, it “has provided overarching strategic guidance for implementing the 2017 National Security Strategy within the world’s most populous and economically dynamic region.” So what is the framework exactly?
