Roy Sasano: Animal Activist facing 21 Charges for peaceful action at Excelsior Hog Farm in BC

Roy Sasano is an activist for animal liberation, a few years ago he volunteered aboard the Sea Shepherd’s Farley Mowat vessel in the Sea of Cortez on a mission to save the critically-endangered vaquita porpoise, and totoaba fish. Roy, and three of his friends known as the Excelsior 4, are currently facing 21 charges, some of them criminal charges potentially carrying hefty prison time, in conjunction with the April 2019 Meat the Victims peaceful protest at Abbotsford’s Excelsior Hog Farm which revealed extreme animal cruelty.
