Measurement Matters - with special guest Dr Gianni Zappala
Manage episode 337490829 series 3381940
Measurement Matters – the podcast that provides free tips and tricks on measuring the difference your activities have on people and the planet.
In this episode we speak with Dr Gianni Zappala Adjunct Associate Professor at the Centre for Social Impact at UNSW, Professional Fellow at the Centre for Social Justice & Inclusion at UTS and Principal at Orfeus SQ.
We explore some of the trends in impact measurement that could be described as 'problematic patterns' and explore how a new lens of meaningful evaluation could help address some of these patterns in a positive way.
Gianni has been one of the pioneers of impact measurement here in Australia, including through both his teaching work and through pragmatic implementation first in the Smith Family and then with a large number of organisations through the Westpac Foundation.
We hope you enjoy this conversation.
