In this special edition of the sport intern series of podcasts, we look at the build up to the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024. The two year mark for the Games has just passed and sport intern went to Paris to speak to Tony Estanguet. The former Olympic champion in canoeing is now the president of Paris 2024, the Olympic organising body for the Paris Games. In our chat with Tony, we find out how the organisers plan to ensure that the Paris Olympics are one of the most sustainable as well as being one of the most accessible for all members of the public.
