DULY NOTED: Wednesday, August 17, witnessed one of the worst days ever for Monaco traffic, with among other jams, a stationary line of traffic in early afternoon from Casino Square via Jardin Exotique to beyond the border at Cap'Ail. A tunnel closure combined with rain were mainly to blame for the problem.

NEWS.MC apologises for the paucity of stories, which is due to the fact that many of Monaco's movers and shakers are making the most of the second half of August holiday period.
