303 In this episode, I look at the life of John the Baptist and what Jesus said about him.
Jesus said in Matthew 11:11
Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women, there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
John, by God's standard, had risen to the highest level of anyone who had ever walked on the earth. If you continue to read, Jesus said, (I'm paraphrasing) you and I are greater than John the Baptist.
Even if I'm the worst (or least) in the kingdom of heaven, I'm greater (or have more power) than John the Baptist.
