In this week's episode with Dr Jessica Forbes and Kate Carmody, we talk about the patient's journey from prehospital through to discharge, how to approach patient handover and pre-notification and gain insight into the logistics behind the ED.

Dr Jess Forbes is a trauma and ED consultant at the Gold Coast University Hospital and works on the High Acuity Response Unity (HARU) for QAS.

Kate Carmody is an CN at GCUH ED, has experience working in the Army and works in the pre-hospital private sector.
