Joseph and Brian discuss keys to success with our guest, Eliel Swinton, Director of Business Development at The Factory Training in Van Nuys, CA. Eliel Swinton was the National Scouting Director for the National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA), the largest scouting organization in the world. His expertise serves as a critical tool when identifying elite youth candidates for The Factory’s Speed and Performance programs. He is also founder of the not-for-profit Carpe Diem Sports Academy and was an Ambassador and certified trainer for the Nike-SPARQ program.
Eliel has coached football in the Los Angeles area at Valley College, Pierce College, and Crespi High School, specializing on defense. Prior to his coaching career, he had a brief stint as a safety for the Kansas City Chiefs. He played running back for Stanford, earning All-Pac-10 honors as well as Freshman Player of the Year (1993).
