ABOUT OUR GUEST

Elizabeth (Liz) Cannon was born and raised in the Granite State and graduated with a Master's Degree from UNH. She was an elementary classroom teacher in the Deerfield School District, taught in California for a year, and is currently a Reading and Writing Specialist at the Harold Martin School in Hopkinton, NH. Liz was honored this year as the recipient of the Christa McAuliffe Sabbatical and is dedicating her work to supporting teachers in the critical task of teaching young children how to read.
