Gene Grant speaks with Albuquerque's District 7 City Councilor Tammy Fiebelkorn about the memorial she introduced urging the state to end its ban on rent control. There is a lot of nuance around rent control and rent stabilization and Gene and Councilor Fiebelkorn do their best to provide all of the information people need to know about how it would work in 2022.

Then, Gene speaks with UNM Associate Dean of Experiential Learning and Law Professor Serge Martinez. Professor Martinez has been a housing advocate for years and gives us more perspective on the conversation surrounding rent control in Albuquerque.
