Today, Matt Wallis shares with us from Luke 18 about 2 men who went to the temple to pray, a pharisee and a tax collector. The pharisee’s prayer was basically a “Humble Brag” while the tax collector’s prayer was just plain humble.
Our song at the end touches on that and how we can show love others who are in need of our compassion. It was written a few weeks ago by Cara Berg, Juliette Alvey, Hannah Rost, & myself. The theme is asking God to Hold on to us when everything else lets us down

Your mighty hand is wide enough to hold both my fears and faith
Your tender heart is strong enough to hear all I have to say

You don’t force me To the end of the story
You don’t force me To the end of the story
You will use this To show your glory
You will use this To show your glory

You will never let me down
You will never let me down
You don’t force me To the end of the story
