Yulinda is a creator of safe spaces that invite those who enter them to be their authentic selves. She inspires vulnerability and transparency by modeling these very traits!
She has the innate ability to make others feel seen and understood. She truly embodies the radical non-judgment which she promotes.
With a background as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Board Certified "Kink Conscious" Sex Therapist, Trauma Specialist, Certified Divorce Mediator and Relationship Negotiator as well as being a Certified Life Coach, Yulinda brings such unique and varied skills and expertise to the table and she uses them all for the benefit of others.
Her passion for helping others began as a child and eventually led to a position as a mentor at the Rogers Park Youth Network at the age of eighteen. After nine years in social work, having held numerous positions and serving a beautifully diverse population with various needs, she transitioned to counseling.
After eight years as a High School guidance counselor, two as the Chair of the Counseling Department, and Six years of Private Clinical Practice, Yulinda realized that although she loved providing therapeutic services she did not love the frameworks she was forced to operate in so she created one of her own!
