Georgina Kakoudaki on how students find their voice in theatre.
Manage episode 346445710 series 3350166
Georgina Kakoudaki is a theater director and pedagogue in Greece.
Georgina has a big love for working with young adults. Kids from 14 or 15 should learn how to speak their minds and voice their opinions. Georgina tells us about how she approaches this work in the project: Theatre within the walls.
'Theatre can be a safe environment where you can confront yourself, explore different sides of your personality. The arts can give you a safety net, where you are allowed to think differently and experiment with thought and opinions. This is vital at the age of 14.'
