Therealmapa is quickly cementing himself as a respected beat architect within Atlanta’s music scene. With a diverse array of sounds inspired by Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, and R&B, the 14-year-old budding music producer creates sonic journeys that are equal parts melodic and energetic—a stark contrast to his very calm, impassive demeanor.
Growing up in a musical family, Therealmapa began learning production at seven. He now regularly participates in (and dominates) the Iron Fist Cookup, a producer showcase held at Stankonia Recording Studios. There, beat makers play their tracks for a panel of judges who give feedback and advice to participants.The world got its first glimpse of him in a similar showcase on Bolo the Producer’s YouTube channel.
Therealmapa was recently featured on CBS46 Atlanta with Reaching Early Creatives, a non-profit music education camp for teens that regards itself as “the AAU of the music industry.”Inspired by Metro Boomin, his brother, Big Homie Snack, and Honorable C.N.O.T.E., Therealmapa is poised to make music history.
