What is accountability? Where can we find it and do we even need it? Do you orient towards an internal locus of control or an external locus of control?

Today’s episode is all about challenging the notion that you’re on your own, that it’s up to you alone to create change for yourself. Exploring accountability through community can have a significant impact on your financial wellness and overall well-being throughout your life.

Today, I welcome Gibrán Rivera: a friend, a client, and a dear colleague. As a coach and master facilitator, Gibrán is the originator of the evolutionary leadership workshop. He’s working to bring close attention to power dynamics, equity, and inclusion as he devotes his life to defining better ways of being together in this world. We welcome you to join us for a powerful discussion on relationships, the importance of self-care, and how to create real change in yourself and in the world and why that means working together, not alone.

What you’ll learn:

  • The 3 spokes on the Wheel of Change - and what I would add as the 4th
  • Gibrán’s journey from picking tobacco at age 12 to master facilitator, what he’s learned along the way, and the spiritual awakening that changed it all
  • How we view accountability and failure in our hyper-individualistic culture - plus the important piece we’re overlooking
  • Why money work is deep emotional work, but SO worth it
  • Discipline v. accountability: How they overlap, differ, and if we really need both
  • How accountability can be misunderstood as “cancelation”
  • The necessity of spiritual resources in your personal transformation journey
  • How we can be self-sovereign in a world filled with negative energy
  • Gibrán’s programs: The Better Men Project, Boost Your Practice, and what’s to come
  • And much more!
