In this episode we talk about the importance of not waiting for circumstances to improve and not coasting along the path that is going to end badly. Instead, a better approach is to take action and to recognise when you’re on a path that will ultimately lead to your destruction and take positive action to change your circumstances. Fortunately, it turns out the friend I was talking about in this episode kept his job and his company seems to have temporarily recovered, which gave him the perfect opportunity to resign and move on a year later. However, I still think the lesson remains and I still think the best choice is always to take positive action in your intended direction rather than being at the mercy of your circumstances.
