Today we had the privilege of sitting down with another candidate running for mayor in the City of Spokane, Mr. Shawn Poole. Shawn is a retired US Army Colonel, a current City of Spokane firefighter and wants to be the next mayor. We discuss some of the issues facing Spokane and the leadership and experience that Shawn will bring as the next city executive if elected. Some of the topics that we discuss are: Homelessness and the issues facing city government with dealing with this growing epidemic, drug addiction and strains that it puts on society, infrastructure within a medium to large economy, and accountability, or lack thereof, of elected officials in local and state government.
