In this week’s episode, the crew had a special guest. We had the notable comedian, Ola Dada who appeared on the first Season of Canada’s Got Talent as a semifinalist (2022). Featured in notable magazines such Maclean. He released his debut comedy album with 604 Records called DADA PLAN. Ola has performed with international comedians such as Godfrey, White Yardie, Okey Bakassi, Andrew Santino, Rosebud Baker, Bryan Simpson, Donnell Rowling, and Bovi. He placed runner-up on Canada’s largest comedy competition SiriusXM top comic (2019). He has performed at Just for Laughs Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto festivals. Ola dada was featured on CBC Gem The New Wave of Stand Up, which was broadcasted across the country.

They talk about his journey to stardom as a comedian. From his first set which started as a dare from his friends to his creative process and his growth and courage leave a 9 to 5 to pursue his dream.

They also discuss what is like to be black in the industry and the logistics of running a comedy show. They finished off the show with their usual light banter with Ola highlighting some of his favourite moments about Provy on the podcast and an insightful conversation about Tik Tok.
