In this very special episode, we are delighted to have Professor Sir Steve Smith who was appointed as the UK International Education Champion in June 2019; a government role aimed at boosting Global Education partnerships all over the world. He was also appointed as the Prime Minister's Special Representative for education to Saudi Arabia in October 2019. And of the five tier one countries for Steve to help enhance UK International Education partnerships.
Education was the theme during the first week of December in Singapore with the British Council who ran the first regional edition of their flagship Going Global Conference. In conjunction with the theme, Professor Sir Steve Smith shares with us the trends he is seeing in this part of the world and what the UK plans to develop the talent and people in ASEAN more broadly.
