Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. Not least, how do we understand "sugar" and "red velvet" in light of recent illuminations of Adam Levine's idea of romance? More fundamentally, is Maroon 5 even still a band? Or just five guys cosplaying as a rock band while they sing along to Mike Posner studio tracks? And why are they giving themselves out as wedding presents to unsuspecting Los Angelenos?
