Welcome to our December Dictionary Series! We recognise that we reference a whole bunch of terms and theories on this podcast and felt it was time to have a handy series of definitions that you can keep coming back to. This is a series of 24 x 5 minute episodes covering some key terms that we use a lot in our work at the centre. Episodes will be released daily and definitions have been co-created with or provided by various members of the Centre for Appearance Research team. In this episode of the series, we're focusing on research methods, and will actually be covering three terms: qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods. To read a recently published CAR-based qualitative study by Tollow et al., see: https://uwe-repository.worktribe.com/output/10197927 To read a recently published CAR-based quantitative study by Gentili et al., see: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/pon.6001 To read a recently published CAR-based mixed-methods study by Costa et al., see: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/105566562211020431 To find out more about the Centre for Appearance Research, follow us: On Twitter:  twitter.com/CAR_UWE On Instagram:  www.instagram.com/car_uwe/ On Facebook:  www.facebook.com/AppearanceResearch Please remember to rate, review, share and subscribe and happy listening!
