It's pretty often I receive emails from professionals and clients within therapeutic fields, but the email I received from today's guest sat with me a bit differently. Matthew Crome, an adult with autism, reached out to me a couple of weeks ago to discuss his thoughts on the Neurodiversity Movement, some criticisms of how certain groups perceive autism, and challenges he faces as a Registered Behavior Technician diagnosed later in life with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Without giving it away entirely, here's what we will say: Autism is definitely not something many adults diagnosed with it consider to be "superior".
