Amanda and Kara acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land of which we are on today, the Yugambeh language people. We would also like to pay our respects to Elders past and present.

Hey friends! This week we're super excited to have the amazing Muchelle B on the pod to talk us through self-compassionate productivity tips and how to make behaviour change that actually sticks! We learnt so much from her kind, realistic approach and think you will too!

She has also recommended the below resources for people who want to learn more about the topics we covered in the episode:

Book: The Joy Choice by Michelle Segar

Muchelle B says: A few of the studies and tidbits that I mentioned came directly from The Joy Choice, it's a great read if you're particularly interested in building healthier movement / nutritional habits (but everything within it can be applied to just about any habit). I really recommend it for anyone who is interested in a more self-compassionate approach to their habits.

Book: Elastic Habits by Stephen Guise

She says: Stephen Guise introduced the idea of a "habit menu" in a formal way in his book, which I mentioned in the podcast episode. He talks all about flexibility in habit building in this book - it's a great read if you struggle with the rigidity of habits.

Book: How to Change: The Science of Getting from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be by Katy Milkman

She says: Katy Milkman ran the study focused on the idea of choosing exercise / eating habits that are enjoyable vs benefit focused, and this book in general is a great read if you're looking to build new, healthy habits.
