In this episode, Mon talks about one way we can read the Bible better: by identifying design patterns. As people in the modern day reading an ancient text, it helps to plug ourselves into mindset of the original authors and their intended audience. After all, don't we make internal adjustments for when we read older books like the Iliad and Odyssey, Ibong Adarna, or Dante's Inferno? So why not do the same for the scriptures?
