In this podcast episode, we explore the importance of women's leadership and why it matters in today's world with Krusha Sahjwani Malkani, the Director head of Asia at Sociabble, and the LinkedIn Top Voice 2022.

Despite making up half of the global population, women are still underrepresented in leadership roles across a variety of industries and that takes me to the next thought, how we can have more women leaders? However, research shows that women leaders bring a unique set of skills and perspectives to the table that can benefit organizations in a number of ways. For example, studies have found that companies with more gender diversity in leadership tend to have higher profits, better decision-making, and increased innovation.

But the benefits of women's leadership extend beyond just the bottom line. When women are in positions of power, it helps to break down barriers and stereotypes, paving the way for more equal representation and opportunities for all. It's important for women to have role models and mentors in leadership positions, as it can inspire and empower the next generation of leaders.

So why does women's leadership matter? It matters because it's about fairness, equal representation, and the potential for organizations to thrive. We need to prioritize diversity and inclusion in leadership and work towards creating a more balanced and equal society.
