Christmas is over, and we move from ghost stories for Christmas to a more serious, bloody chapter of Norwich's history. The murder of an apprentice tanner in 1144 sparked off a chain reaction that would affect the Jewish community in Norwich, and the rest of the nation throughout the medieval period. Mix in conspiracy theories, secret societies and centuries old prejudice and we have a recipe for disaster.
