In episode 88, Genny spoke about the impression and the impact we make on people. It’s about caring, understanding, compassion, empathy and kindness. Genny shared that it doesn’t cost anything to be kind, and you get that feeling of happiness you show kindness to others. And research shows there is a strong correlation between kindness and happiness.

Genny suggested we write our own eulogy and think about what people would remember about you, and say about you, and think about how you like to be remembered. She stressed that your impact is your legacy so take those thoughts of how we’d like to be remembered and put that into action. Leave a lasting impact.

Genny offered suggestions on how we start to incorporate those actions such as smiling, saying thank you, and paying someone a compliment. She ended with a quote by Gandhi, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
