Season 3 (BONUS EPISODE) Dr. Antonio Gabrielli is coming from Pordenone, Italy

About our guest Dr. Gabrielli is a loving father to two beautiful and talented young women, the husband to an inspiring, vivacious, and caring wife, and friend to many fortunate people around the world. Dr. Gabrielli has had a storied medical career that is almost inconceivable to believe. In the span of close to 40 years of serving others, Dr. Gabrielli impacted lives throughout the world. From 1987-1999 he worked for UNICEF and WHO in far away countries such as Tanzania, Somalia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, and Zimbabwe. Dr. Gabrielli has medical degrees in general medicine, gastroenterology, tropical medicine and hygiene, and his masters in public health. His career began in 1983 in Rome and concluded recently when he retired in 2021 as the head of the department of primary health.

Dr. Gabrielli is active and loves to ski, sail, scuba dive, hike, bike, and travel. I had the good fortune of meeting Antonio on one of his travels – we met while walking the Camino de Santiago. I had seen him walking with his beautiful wife a few days earlier and there was just something special about the both of them that I made a mental note to make sure that if I was fortunate enough to see him again, I was going to spend time getting to know him. Luckily for me, I did, and we spent the rest of the journey either seeing each other or messaging each other with words of encouragement and love.

Mi hermano, thanks for dedicating your life to the health of all people, thanks for sharing your gift with the world, and thanks for being kind to me on the Camino and most importantly, thanks for being my good friend. Antonio, welcome to the show!
