The mesmerizing, glorious, heartbreaking show The Last of Us is ending their first season on Sunday, and you know what that means... it's fanfiction time, baby! While the show has been getting so many rave reviews for it's adaptation, the acting, the practical effects; but there has been one man who has been getting more attention (for better or worse) than the rest. Pedro Pascal as Joel has stolen our hearts and filled our FYPs with many a sexy man edit. Even before Pedro Pascal took over the role, this fanfiction from 2017 has proven that Joel has always been a bright spot in our hearts. But in this world of infected, zombie-like people and every man for himself, is there really any room for happily ever afters? As always, send us your fic recommendations, or reach out if you are a fic author who would like to be interviewed in the future, at canonicallyincorrectpod@gmail.com
