Today’s topic is Glass House. I Can’t Be You and You Can’t Be Me.
Hi! I’m Gail Nobles, and you’re listening to Radiae ApplisSoul on Sound Flave. Today I’m thinking of The Glass House Band: an assembly of musicians put together by Holland Dozier Holland for their Invictus Record label in 1969. The group was led by Ty Hunter and included Scherrie Payne, sister of soul singer Freda Payne.[2] The group released two albums and had a string of chart hits through 1972, peaking with 1969's "Crumbs Off The Table", but once their popularity had dried up, Invictus dissolved the group.
I like the House of Glads song, I Can’t Be You ( You Can’t Be Me) released in 1970. It was #90 on the U.S. Pop Singles chart & #33 on the U.S. R&B chart.
The song said: The whole world is a stage. We all play different roles. In different bodies we all got different souls. I Can’t Be You and You Can’t Be Me.
You’re listening to Radiae Applis Soul.
