Our conversation in episode 4 of the special series Impact of Visual Arts is with Max Pedreira, a resident of Buenos Aires, Argentina, an artist highly influenced by Impressionism and Expressionism. He has exhibited in various countries like Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Cuba, and the USA. Defining himself as a figurative-abstract painter, he aims his work to reach everyone’s soul and to never be forgotten.

Max tends to impose complex compositions on his imprint, where the human figure is immersed in labyrinths of compositional rhythms, and the expressionist tone of the figuration joins the planes of symbolic spaces in absolute harmony, here is the paradox, the complex does not shy away or avoid, on the contrary, it captures the viewer's contemplation. His works compel us to look closely. "When the result of the painting is there," he said, "what people say about my painting is that they can't stop watching the painting".

Tune in to hear Max's conversation with our host Payal Nayar about art and its impact on one's life.
