Today we speak to Julie Hoyte, an Army-trained and registered radiology technologist who has started a company that is making strides on the post Covid world.
Julie Hoyte
Julie Hoyte, HITS CEO, is an Army-trained & registered radiology technologist, has her BS in Nursing from the University of Rochester, and MS in Public Administration with a focus on Healthcare Administration from Troy University. She possesses over 25 years of diverse military & civilian healthcare, and health IT experience as an imaging informaticist. She is the proud mother to a Fleet Marine Force Navy Corpsman, loves to swim, loves dogs, great food and wine, and to simply have a great time laughing. When Julie is not scaling HITS, she is a DAV Commander of her local chapter, and is a vocal member of the DAV Department (state-level) Executive. In addition, she provides Chronic Disease Self-Management Program training to incarcerated veterans in Prince William County semi-yearly so they learn effective ways of dealing with their substance abuse and mental health issues, in hope of reducing veteran recidivism.
HITS

We leverage 25 years+ of military and civilian healthcare and health IT experience to create solutions that satisfy requirements of both the functional and technical communities. We utilize this multi-domain expertise to help develop enterprise and interagency health IT solutions within the federal, state, and local government and commercial space. HITS core capabilities are Human Centered Design and Engineering, Program and Project Management Support, Quality Assurance, Information Management, User Training, and Staff Augmentation. HITS has past experience in supporting contracts on Garrison systems and Combatant Command Operational Support within the Defense Health Agency.
