In this episode, we talk about societal transformation. We discuss the role of theory and practice when it comes to making change happen and you will hear about the opportunities and limitations of doing so in academia and consulting. You will understand what Transformative Governance means and what Mission-Oriented Policy has to do with it. We discuss the importance and challenge of finding cross-border solutions to societal challenges such as climate change – especially in turbulent times like ours. We talk about democracy, citizenship, and why the key for change is new forms for collective action. You will hear about problems of the current consulting industry and how we can turn things around in order to reignite its purpose towards the common good. Finally, we discuss the role of art in all of that.
