The Power of Enlightened Leadership and the Primary Means to Develop It
Manage episode 359791355 series 3459278
In our last podcast, Anatoly Yakorev and l discussed the intersection between leadership trust and ethics. During that conversation, we touched on the nature of leadership in the executive suite and how a large contingent that still defaults to a more autocratic style of leadership that drives results through fear. That said, we agreed that an enlightened approach to leading is what works far better to generate high-quality results, retain talent, and improve well-being at work.
Enlightened leaders have strong executive presence, are more visionary and strategic, exceptional in their conversational intelligence, and stellar in their ability to create alignment as well as to attract and retain talent. All of this results in maximizing their ability to create value and generate outstanding results for their organizations, at a level no autocratic leader can generate.
I invited Anatoly back for this conversation to dive deeper into this and explore the value of an enlightened approach to leadership and what an executive must do to develop into a more enlightened leader.
