In this episode of the It’s Not About The Money podcast (formerly the In Her Financial Shoes podcast) I am going to be discussing how to manage your money in business when you are neurodiverse.

Research shows that the diagnosis of ADHD in women is on the rise. ADHD affects the brain’s executive function which is the part that helps with planning, organising and structure. This means that the traditional methods for managing your finances are not supportive to those who have ADHD or some other neurodiversities.

The topic of ADHD and money has been discussed frequently in our communities. This episode is going to provide some hints, tips and strategies that will help support you or someone you know who has been diagnosed with ADHD.

In this episode:

  • Why ADHD creates challenges around money

  • The best tool to use to help create manageable steps for dealing with your finances

  • How to use time management to support your financial organisation

  • Simple and supportive routines to put in place

  • How to leverage automation for productivity
