Have you considered working in the birth space as a doula? Today’s episode is filled with wise woman energy; featuring Meaghan Amor from A Place Called Birth sharing her 20+ years of experience in the birth world as a Doula and Hypnobirthing Childbirth Educator.

Meaghan began her journey as a maiden in the birth space supporting her closest friends; bringing the energy of a sacred doula before she even knew the meaning of the word. Entering her own rite of passage she was left feeling unsupported and traumatised by her experience. It was a suggestion made by her client to birth at home that awakened her trust in undisturbed birth; leading her to experience two healing and transformative births in the safety of her most familiar space.

Over time, Meaghan’s passion for supporting and educating women on their journey to birth slowly manifested into creating a community of doulas. Using her wealth of knowledge to create “Sacred Doula Training”. A program to pass down her wisdom and guide her students with the tools and skills needed to support families during their most transitional time in life. Today Meaghan shares personal experiences over her many years working in the birth space and answers common questions about life as a doula.
