With a plethora of services, opportunities and locations the Frederick County YMCA has grown incredibly under the leadership of Chris Colville and on this episode of the Steeples and Peoples podcast we will talk with her about how she has been instrumental in the process. Chris shares with us all the programs that they offer from preschool and head start to sports related programs. She talks about the downtown Y and the renovations that will be occurring and the new facility in Urbana that was opened during the height of covid in 2021. Chris shares the vision of the future for Frederick Counties YMCA’s and how you can join and become a part of their future.
The YMCA has five locations in Frederick, one in Ijamsville and Sabillasville along with various other locations in the county.
