Russian (Artist Management, Music and Partnerships), Marissa (Artist Management), Shenice (Publicity & Relations, Black Music and Culture) and Sairah (Artist Management, Co-Founder of The Black Fund) joined us at BYAW in conversation to understand their line of work and learn how they got there in the first place. Each of them expressed the effects of being treated differently within the industry as a woman and as black women. No process of entering the music industry is easy.
