Renowned Rock Musician, bass guitarist and founder of the very first Nepali Rock band 1974AD, Nirakar Yakthumba descriptively dismantles his career and process as a musician. 1974AD also had the distinction of being the first Nepali band to tour the US in 2002. They continue to perform worldwide two decades later. Nirakar is also an entrepreneur: the brain, heart and soul behind Gyan Mandala: Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory, as well as Moksh, doing everything he can to foster a love for music and to provide the necessary training to talented young people.
