Show Topic: THE BLUE WALL OF SILENCE

Recently former President Donald Trump called the black police officer who shot Ashli Babbitt a ‘thug’ during a CNN town hall. In addition, he falsely said that the officer bragged about killing Babbitt. Since his interview, there has been total silence from the police community to come out and denounce the former president’s name-calling of a federal black police officer. does this blue wall of silence from police organizations and associations continue to perpetuate the deep-rooted racist problem in policing?

The bigger question is why these groups have been silent.
