When my son blew through the complex puzzles of a pirate-themed time manupilation game at Midwest Gaming Classic, I knew we had to meet the creative mind behind it. Fast forward to today's episode of Bucket Bytes, where we're joined by Mr. Lime, the talented developer from Lime Blossom Studio, as we discuss his upcoming game, You Have No Time. With a gripping time mechanic, this game is set to be a hit among puzzle enthusiasts.
We also show off the PC we are giving away as part of our Bucket Bytes Summer Giveaway.... which I promis DOESN'T HAVE A CLOAKING DEVICE.
We don't stop there! Join us as we dive headfirst into the world of fighting games, comparing the likes of Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Tekken. Discover how indie games are evolving as we discuss the role of microtransactions in Diablo, Genshin Impact, and Overwatch. Plus, discussing Warhammer 40K, gaming bars in Milwaukee, and the ever-growing trend of story-driven narrative indie games.
From the creative process behind Mr. Lime's puzzles to the guessing game of iconic video game sound bytes, this episode is packed with engaging discussions and a healthy dose of nostalgia. Listen in as we explore the fascinating world of gaming, game development, and the passion that drives it all. Don't miss out on this adventure – it's one for the (pirate) record books!
