Did you know that there are actually beautiful and luxurious mobile home parks? Sadly, though, there is that stigma that mobile homes are trailer trash, a haven for proliferation of drugs and all of those negativity projected by the media.

In this episode, Franco had the opportunity to speak to Patrick Grimes, a mobile home park advocate. They talked about the importance of protecting mobile home parks, providing affordable housing, and building financial security through property ownership.

Check out the full episode and together let's fight the negative sigmas and support affordable housing options for all.

07:55 Mobile homes are a whole lot more than the stigma issues that's being attached to it.

10:28 What is the kind of environment for park living at West Winds, the largest mobile home park in the city of San Jose?

12:59 Creating affordable living for teachers and families to prevent them from moving to outside areas and stop the decline in enrollment.

14:30 Patrick Grime's own experience starting a family and working as a teacher and finding his way into purchasing a mobile home.

15:31 Owning an asset through hybrid homes versus your money totally going to rent, which is an expense.

17:14 What were the features of the mobile home that Patrick got some 30 years back?

20:03 The movement that Patrick Grimes organized to protect mobile home parks after getting a notice from the park management of eviction to all 723 carport residents.
